Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services across community, telehealth, and centre-based settings.
  • Work with both children and adults to enhance independence and functional outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interventions, and provide assistive technology recommendations.
  • Manage a diverse caseload and produce high-quality clinical reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, families, and a team of clinicians, benefiting from regular supervision and ongoing professional development.

For New Graduates:

  • Engage in a structured 12-month New Graduate Programme, which includes:
    • Comprehensive induction and weekly 1:1 supervision.
    • Shadowing and hands-on clinical support from experienced clinicians.
    • Core skills training and continuous professional development.
    • Fortnightly group mentoring and regular wellbeing check-ins.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
  • Current NZ registration with the ability to meet Australian OT registration requirements.
  • NZ/Australian citizenship or valid Australian work rights.
  • A driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle in Australia.
  • Ability to complete required Australian employment checks and hold appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
